BAYCAMPR RULES OF THE ROAD
RETURN: Unless a Late Drop Off option is included on the reservation, the RV must be returned and fully checked in by 12:00 PM. Unapproved late returns are $50/hour, up to $250/day. Notifying BayCampr of a late return does not waive the fee.
FUEL & PROPANE: Return fuel and propane at the same levels as received unless prepaid propane was purchased. Refueling is charged at market cost plus $40 labor.
WASTE TANKS: Gray and black tanks must be returned emptied and flushed. Failure to do so results in a $125 service fee.
CLEANING: The RV interior must be returned in reasonably clean condition. Guests are expected to remove all personal belongings, trash, and food; clean any kitchenware or cooking equipment used; sweep the floors; and spot-clean spills. Excessive cleaning or minor renter-caused interior restoration beyond normal wear is charged at $75/hour, with a 1-hour minimum.
SMOKING / PETS / ODORS: Smoking of any kind is prohibited. Pets must be approved, and the Pet Upgrade Add-on must be paid. Smoking, strong odors, or unauthorized pets may result in a minimum $350 deodorizing fee plus additional cleaning as needed.
DAMAGE: Renter is responsible for renter-caused damage, missing items, and abnormal wear. Damage caused by contact with trees, branches, posts, curbs, or similar obstacles is not normal wear and may result in restoration charges, professional repair costs, or an insurance claim.
PROHIBITED USE: Beach or sand driving is prohibited. Renter is responsible for damage resulting from prohibited use, overloading, road hazards, or improper operation.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Standard pick up timing is 1-4pm on departure day and standard return time is 9am-12pm on return day. There are optional add on items during the booking process to request early departure (9am-12pm) and/or late return (1-4pm). If the trailer is not booked already you can lock those in for a small fee.

Possibly! Some renters can use coverage from their existing auto insurance instead of purchasing a rental protection package, which can provide significant savings. Contact your insurer and ask if they can provide an RV rental insurance binder for the specific RV and rental dates. Coverage varies by insurer and policy. If your insurer can't provide qualifying coverage, rental protection options are available during booking.

Do I need a brake controller in my vehicle?

Yes your tow vehicle needs to have a brake controller. If you don't have one installed, you can either install one, purchase your own portable unit or rent one from BayCampr. There is a Brake Controller addon available during the booking process.
