The manual and videos made everything easy to follow. Our family—especially the kids—loved spending time together playing cards and games during the trip. Russ was quick to respond and very flexible when we asked to extend our schedule. Overall, both the RV and Russ as a host exceeded our expectation

5.0Nice Rigs is a very professional, efficient and reliable place to rent an RV, especially if it’s your first time taking such an excursion. They insure you are prepared and ready for your trip with the right insurance, road side assistance and instructions needed to operate the RV, its utilities, jacks, air conditioning and generator. I have never driven an RV before my sons and I took a 2 week trip to the Grand Canyon and back. The RV accommodated us well and kept us cool even when we encountered 109 degree temps through the Mojave area. Russel ran me through how to make the sides push out and retract. He took me on a practice drive to make sure I was comfortable. Everything was laid out clearly in our contact, and he honored all agreements. I would highly recommend NiceRigs for your RV vacation.

We brought the dog, and my parents went in another RV (rented from another company). This unit was far superior to the class C that they had rented and ours was at a better price. Russell did a great job explaining the unit, the contract and how best to use all the amenities. My next RV rental will be right back here, and yours should be too.

Hawkeye supports standard 30-amp campground hookups for power, fresh water, and sewer. The process is straightforward, and I’ll explain exactly what to connect and when during your pickup walkthrough. If you’re new to RV camping, don’t worry — most renters find the setup easier than expected once they see it in person.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Standard pickup is between 1:00–4:00 PM on the departure day, and standard return is between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on the return day. If you need additional flexibility, optional add-ons are available during booking for early pickup (9:00 AM–12:00 PM) and/or late return (1:00–4:00 PM). These options can be reserved for a small fee when availability allows. If you’re unsure what timing works best for your plans, feel free to reach out before booking — happy to help clarify.

Is this RV easy to drive and operate for first-time renters?
A.
Yes. While Hawkeye is a larger Class C, it’s designed to be very approachable and comfortable to drive. The ride is smooth and stable, and features like the backup and side cameras make parking and maneuvering much easier. I’ll walk you through driving tips, setup, and all onboard systems at pickup. You'll be offered a test drive, and you’ll also receive a simple orientation guide so you feel confident using everything during your trip — even if this is your first RV experience.
