No Smoking. Max 2 Pets Allowed with Fee of $100. Maintained Dirt Roads OK for Boondocking. Not compatible with 4x4 only roads. No International Travel UNLESS PREAPPROVED BY SCENIC. No Burning Man. (AGAIN NO BURNING MAN). Immediate charge of $10,000 processed when rented van entered Burning Man area. Tailgating Ok. No towing (except bike racks provided by customer). Snow chains are prohibited. Please plan trip accordingly to avoid chain controls. Damages: The renters are financially responsible for ALL physical damage to or theft of a Booked Vehicle that occurs during the Booking, plus any additional costs and fees resulting from damage of any kind to the Vehicle, regardless of who is found to be at fault. If you purchased insurance through our booking software (Outdoorsy/Wheelbase), there is a $1500 deductible that will be applied to damages. For damage under $1500, the renter is responsible for all damage costs. If you are using your personal insurance for coverage during your trip (trips booked on Scenic Vans website only), you are fully responsible for all damage and subject to the deductible for your individual policy. If you have purchased Interior Damage Protection through our booking site (Outdoorsy/Wheelbase), the policy covers up to $1500 of interior damage subject to the policies specifications. It is renter's responsibility to file the claim with IMG. No deductible to file claim. Scenic will deduct any damage costs from security deposit and successful claims will be reimbursed by IMG to the renter directly. Excess Cleaning Fee $250 assessed upon further inspection of the van during cleaning process.
