In 2017, we travelled to New Zealand and rented a campervan to our the South Island. We fell in love with vanlife and over the next few years dreamed of owning our very own van. With some determination we purchased an upfitted Dodge Promaster Campervan and toured the country for a year. We want everyone to have the Vanlife Experience and see the great outdoors in style! We started Scenic to make that dream come true. We now rent a fleet of campervans to adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers!

We rented the Cascade for my husband's birthday trip. We went went up the north calif coast and stayed in campgrounds along the way! The van was easy to drive, so comfortable and we are hooked!!! Angela at Scenic was amazing and walked my through everything!
We would rent again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I last camped in a campervan 33 years ago shortly after we got married, until this week! We just spent 4 days/3 night touring the Easter Sierra in a Scenic Campervan, can't wait to do it again. The van we rented, the Shasta, was perfect for the 2 of us, comfortable and well outfitted. Can't say enough about the overall positive experience renting with Scenic Custom Campervans and the quality of their vans.

Our van (The Zion) was amazing! Perfect layout. Had everything that we could have possibly needed. Large enough to feel comfortable, but small enough to squeeze into small spaces. The newer model Sprinter was really nice to drive and the build felt new, clean, and solid. The kitchen was well stocked and super functional. The bed was a great use of space. Plenty of storage. Would definitely rent through Scenic again.

The vans are safe and comfortable. And all the staff encountered was delightful to work with. We had a minor issue on the road and they resolved it over the phone at a very short amount of time we would not hesitate to rent from them again. Loads of fun!

Easy to book, easy to drive and an amazing way to see the countryside. We took Emily’s advice and used Harvest Host. Having a completely off-grid luxurious “hotel” waiting after our adventures was priceless! We now know that we are making a great decision to buy our van from Emily and Kevin! Shout out to Angela for getting us up to speed on how to use the systems! Highly recommend this company!

We picked up the camper van easily & it drove well. we never needed to hook up ancillary power. We would have appreciated knowing there was no microwave as we would have brought a small one & additional glassware & coffee cups. the bed was up high & required a stool which they had provided but it was difficult & the seating at the inside table was minimal.
