Provides thorough communication and support

Angela provided excellent preparation and follow-up. The crew (Kevin, Michael) offered outstanding communication, on-road support, and detailed walkthroughs. Michael was dismissive about known AC and dashboard issues; a refund for AC was pending.

Drives like a regular car

Guests appreciated the vehicle drove like a car, fit into tent-only spots, and included a real mattress. However, one rental experienced issues: non-functional AC, dashboard problems, and sticky cupboards, leading to an early trip end.

The campervan and rental process with Scenic Vans was great! A top notch operation with great communication. The van was everything we expected in a camper with nice touches from Scenic Vans. We highly recommend!

Angela was excellent with her preparation. Follow-up was very good. Emptying the tanks (even though I didn't use them) is above & beyond though I know you need to be sure it's all been done correctly.

Scenic Vans was great to work with even when our plans had to change. We rented the Shasta for one week and enjoyed it. It drives like a car (almost) and we could stay in tent only spots. sleeping on a real mattress made all the difference in the world.

Kevin, Michael and the entire Scenic Vans crew are a pleasure work with. From outstanding communication in the rental contract process to support while on the road -- we could not have felt more comfortable. This was our 4th RV rental and first with Scenic Vans, and we cannot wait to book with them again!

Customer service was nice, but we experienced a couple of issues with the van... no AC as planned and paid for, (something about a missing piece from last customer) the dash board had an issue, and the cupboards stuck and were hard to open. When we mentioned to Michael as we checked back in, he said we are not the first and won't be the last to complain about this, and yes, they knew there was a short in the dashboard. OUr thought was "then fix it"! and wish they had told us so we weren't worried what we did wrong. WIthout AC, we were too hot to hang in van in day time and cut our trip short. I look forward to the refund from the lack of AC that doesn't seem accounted for yet. and we never spent the wood. And while we are glad that Kevin gave us a bigger van since we had dogs, we found that it was pretty tight quarters for our pups. Overall the van drove fine, and it was fun to give this a first try. thank you

No Smoking. Max 2 Pets Allowed with Fee of $100. Maintained Dirt Roads OK for Boondocking. Not compatible with 4x4 only roads. No International Travel UNLESS PREAPPROVED BY SCENIC. No Burning Man. (AGAIN NO BURNING MAN). Immediate charge of $10,000 processed when rented van entered Burning Man area. Tailgating Ok. No towing (except bike racks provided by customer). Snow chains are prohibited. Please plan trip accordingly to avoid chain controls. Damages: The renters are financially responsible for ALL physical damage to or theft of a Booked Vehicle that occurs during the Booking, plus any additional costs and fees resulting from damage of any kind to the Vehicle, regardless of who is found to be at fault. If you purchased insurance through our booking software (Outdoorsy/Wheelbase), there is a $1500 deductible that will be applied to damages. For damage under $1500, the renter is responsible for all damage costs. If you are using your personal insurance for coverage during your trip (trips booked on Scenic Vans website only), you are fully responsible for all damage and subject to the deductible for your individual policy. If you have purchased Interior Damage Protection through our booking site (Outdoorsy/Wheelbase), the policy covers up to $1500 of interior damage subject to the policies specifications. It is renter's responsibility to file the claim with IMG. No deductible to file claim. Scenic will deduct any damage costs from security deposit and successful claims will be reimbursed by IMG to the renter directly. Excess Cleaning Fee $250 assessed upon further inspection of the van during cleaning process.

We started Scenic to make that dream come true. We now rent a fleet of campervans to adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers!
