While teaching is my true passion and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with kids nine months of the year, I also love helping people get out and enjoy the outdoors. Growing up camping and taking backpack trips out west, I have come to love the freedom of going to the lake to fish and enjoying hikes through Wisconsin's abundant scenery. My wife and I have three great kids that have changed our ability to be gone for our summers, but would love the opportunity to help you enjoy a weekend away from home. Our experience was awesome! The trailer was very clean and in great condition. John walked us through everything when we picked it up and was a great communicator throughout the entire rental process. They provide a step-by-step checklist for setup, cleaning up,etc. which was also very helpful. Will definitely rent from Black Dog Recreation again!

Several of us slept in the unit for several nights including our 8-year old grandson. While the water worked during setup, for some reason it failed to work thereafter. Also, the refrigerator never cooled nor the freezer chill to use. These weren't critical issues for us fortunately and we didn't want to take John away from his family during the holiday weekend to resolve. While we expected all our guests to stay on our property, one family of five opted to stay in a hotel in Lake Delton during the weekend, with three families still at our house. That decision came after we had the unit on site. The setup service was excellent; we just didn't want to drag John away from his family vacation when the water and refrigerator issues weren't critical for us. Thanks to Black Dog for working with us! I'll return the generator later today; I put it under the snowblower tarp in the driveway so it wasn't visible from the street and to protect it from what looked like rain which never materialized.

Everything was great the only thing I would say is check the beds because they had crumbs scattered over both of the bunks lol. No big deal to me but I know some people will say something worse. Thanks again!

Great communication. Trailer was even more equipt than was listed on the site. Would definitely recommend.
