We are a retired couple -- university professor and antique china restorer/studio artist. With our dog, Remy, we travel extensively in our van, to see daughters in Santa Fe, NM and Fruita, CO; visit art museums and musical performance/recording shrines; and, hike in as many National and State Parks, Monuments, and Forests as our ageing knees will allow. Too many memorable trips to pick just one favorite, but most recent stand-out is a 10 day tour of Newfoundland, camping in its many national and provincial parks/World Heritage Sites; taking in its multitude of geological, historical, cultural, and wildlife wonders; and, most memorably, marveling at the massive icebergs floating just off the hundreds of miles of spectacular coastal cliffs and shorelines.

Thank you, Judith and Allen, for making our road trip from Philly to Florida and back such a wonderful experience. Bill, Sully, and I had an amazing time traveling in your camper van. The van was comfortable, fun, and perfect for the journey. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful snack bag you put together for. Your kindness meant a lot and made the trip even more special. Thank you again helping us create such great memories.

I rented a camper van through Outdoorsy to get some firsthand experience prior to purchasing one soon. I could not have asked for a better experience than with Alan and Judith and their van! Alan spent time going over all the features, tips and tricks for the road, and a thorough tutorial which was invaluable. They’ve created a booklet to reference also.

In short, we had the BEST time and are now hooked on traveling this way.Judith and Alan have created the perfect traveling nest. Having traveled cross-country numerous times, they have thought through all the little details that made our trip wonderful, simple, and organic. We enjoyed cooking on their Coleman-like stove outside on the picnic table vs using the alternative induction burner they also provided. Pots, pans, dishes, a sharp knife (so nice to have), flatware, spatula, strainer.... everything we could want and need to cook all our meals. Sleeping was heaven on earth! So comfy …. and with the back doors open to the lake, it allowed us to enjoy the harvest moon beams, its reflection on the still water, and nature's night sounds without worry thanks to the magnet screens protecting us. Below the bed in the "garage" area, Judith and Alan had chairs, starter wood, tools, a canopy we opened over the picnic table, and more..... Anything and everything our little hearts desired made our trip wonderfully memorable.The last thing I will mention is the awesome briefing Judith and Alan did regarding the van, its mechanical systems, where things are stored, tips from their experience of when and how to use the different items on the van, AND a personalized manual they created explaining all of what they covered in the briefing, just in case we forgot any of the details. We pulled away, prepared and excited to embark on our 1st van camping experience!!!!!

• The van’s 9’ exterior height cleared every height-restricted bridge
Support on the road
• We never needed help, but the 24/7 text line was active.
Drop-off took 15 minutes.
Reliable, ultra-clean, and hosted by someone who clearly cares about both their rig and their renters’ experience.
Would book again in a heartbeat!

Alan and Judith were amazing hosts. The van was clean and stocked for our trip. Alan took time to go over everything about the van as we were first time campervan users. They left us some snacks for our trip and some brochures for the places we were visiting which was so thoughtful. Alan was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip for whatever we needed.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! This camper van was awesome. Alan & Judith were so helpful and have thought of everything you would ever need for a worry free vacation. Judith packed up some treats and Alan was so helpful and nice. THIS SHOULD BE THE VAN YOU RENT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A BLOODY GOOD TIME

Allan and Judith were very easy to deal with. Their van is in great shape and their experience with the van on trips they have taking is very useful in that they will offer some great tips for different scenarios you may encounter on the road. They even provide some delicious snacks. The bed was comfortable. I am 6'2 and knew the bed would be a little short based on other camper van experiences. Nonetheless, I slept like a baby. They also have a heater which not all camper vans have. One thing that I don't recall seeing in their profile is that it takes regular unleaded gas. When you go to remote areas, this is important because sometimes you have to travel for diesel which I have experienced on trips with other camper vans. I highly recommend this van if you are looking to do a camper van experience!

I rented Alan & Judith's Promaster for a trip up to Vermont; to enjoy some skiing. Alan and Judith were absolutely great hosts. Alan was very thorough in making sure the vehicle was fully inspected, and everything was operational. He gave me a full tutorial on how everything worked. Beyond that; they made sure I had some extras as well. Snacks, refreshments, etc. Everything with the van worked great. The diesel heater kept me plenty warm through the cold nights in Vermont. They were also flexible to fit my schedule for pickup and drop-off; as I had a day of flight change. I would absolutely rent again from Alan & Judith.

This was our first experience with Outdoorsy and BOY WERE WE SPOILED!!!Alan and Jude were so sweet, hospitable and accommodating! They made special accommodations for our late arrival into the Philadelphia airport, prepared a great breakfast spread and coffee and tea the following morning, and generally went out of their way to communicate with us and make us feel very comfortable. Prior to our trip, Alan showed us how to operate their beautiful Ram van and provided us a thorough booklet with key notes and tips should we need a refresher along the way. On the road, the van performed beautifully and worked like new. As someone who full-times in a big 40' Class A and also owns an extended-wheelbase dually Sprinter van, I was pleased with the size of this Promaster van. It was just the right size - big enough to live comfortably in, but small enough to maneuver in Philly and NYC. We even parked in Brooklyn and Manhattan and urban boondocked a couple nights!The buildout of this van is, in my opinion, perfect. Decor is modern and bright with warm, dimmable LED lights bringing the white shiplap wood construction to life. There is lots of storage hidden away everywhere you look, including a large slideout tray beneath the comfortable bed. For climate control, two MaxxFans move air rapidly and a very efficient diesel furnace immediately warms the large living space! The small fridge/freezer worked perfectly for an extended weekend, holding a surprising amount of perishable goods and keeping them cool at all times. A 5-gallon fresh water tank and basin sink were again perfect for the application and very handy. Finally, the electric water-free toilet was a lifesaver (even though we didn't think we would use it initially)!
