Mike was great answering questions ahead of time. He is very thorough explaining how the van operates and what to do if any issues arise. We had the 20' van for 2 of us, which was perfect!! It fit in regular sized parking spaces and easy to back into campsites and spots. We LOVED having our home for the week, food, and clothing with us wherever we went. (Yes, we used the bear boxes at night). When we are back in CA for another adventure like this, we plan to book through California VanLife!

Perfect sleeping arrangements for 2 couples. Bedding and venting provided perfect temps for September nights. The stove was a great accompaniment to the camp grilling - and waking to potable water and a coffee maker was essential for early rising. Also, van road very nicely even on the steep twisty Yosemite roads.

Mike is the best and the RV was great too.
Mike was super helpful, both before we arrived help until the very end. Any questions I had before our trip were responded to quickly. Once we arrived at his location, a easy Uber trip from the airport, Mike took the time to go over the whole RV with us. He allowed us to choose a selection of pots, pans and dishes, had plenty of sheets and blanket. He also had on hand kitchen items from previous users such as tin foil and PAM. The things you might need but weren't going to need a whole lot of.

Everything about the experience was fantastic--airport pickup and dropoff were very easy and convenient, Mike did a great job explaining everything we needed to know about the van, and the old 1999 handled great up in Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The pop-top made it easy to stand inside and made it feel a lot bigger, and the cabinets were nice for organization. Would happily rent from Mike again if we're back in the area!

This van was perfect for my husband, 3yr, 1yr, and I to tour around the Sequoia National Park for a few days. I highly recommend Mike, he was very accommodating and helpful!

We had a good experience renting the Winnebago Solis National Parks Edition. Communication with the host was excellent, and pickup and drop-off were both easy and convenient. The van was also very easy to drive and comfortable for our trip.

Incredibly responsive and accommodating. Our group had an amazing trip to Yosemite, Pinnacles, Channel Islands, Sequoia, & Kings Canyon. We love traveling in camper vans and this rental experience was top notch.

We had a great time in Yosemite and Kings Canyon. The sprinter van was perfect, even stayed one night in Kings Canyon without electricity with only solar power. It was perfect!!

We rented a camper van from Mike for a week-long adventure through Yosemite, Sequoia, and the Eastern Sierra, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we picked up the van, everything felt seamless. Mike was responsive, super helpful, and clearly takes pride in his vehicles. The van was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—bedding, kitchen gear, solar power, and even some local tips that made a big difference.
Having our own mobile base made exploring these iconic places so much better. We woke up to granite walls in Yosemite, spent quiet evenings under giant sequoias, and chased golden light and open skies across the Eastern Sierra. Being able to park, cook, and sleep right where the adventure was happening added a level of freedom and immersion that hotels just can’t match.
Mike’s communication before and during the trip was excellent, and the van performed flawlessly the entire time. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable way to experience California’s best mountain landscapes, we highly recommend renting from him. This trip will stick with us for a long time.
