Come and explore The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE). It is the largest intact temperate ecosystem in the world, spanning parts of Yellowstone National Park and surrounding lands, and is characterized by its geothermal features, volcanic history, and rich biodiversity. The GYE hosts significant populations of bison, elk, wolves, and grizzly bears and is home to geysers, hot springs, forests, lakes, and sagebrush steppe. Grand Teton National Park is it's southern neighbor where you will embark on an adventure like no other you have had before. I suggest touring in May or September as the crowds are not quite as intense. Go Idaho! Go Montana! There are similar resources in Yellowstone and Glacier NP where you can find information about guided trips on the Snake River, Gallatin River, Yellowstone River, Madison River and many more.
