The van cannot be taken to festivals, such as Burning Man or similar events. All rentals must be pre-approved.Because of the age of the van and because it’s our personal vehicle, we have to ask you to follow certain rules:1. Local travel preferred. Destinations such as: Vancouver Island, Whistler, Hope; if to the US, Seattle. Exceptions are possible. Please share your itinerary.2. Do not exceed 110km/h. 90-100km/h is best for the van, so please keep to these maximum speeds only. The van is slow going up steep hills. You may need to drive 60-80km/h when going up a hill, but you'll get there :)3. Perform a check on the engine coolant (the morning after) if driving a long distance, like to Oregon. Refill the coolant if needed. We will show you how to do this. Coolant will be provided. If you run out, we will reimburse you for any coolant you need to purchase. We got our VW Westfalia camper van because we've always loved the style and the freedom this type of van offers. We used it quite often for trips to the beach and camping.
We also took it on a long road trip across the entire Trans Canada Highway all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. From there we drove to San Diego and then back to Canada. Travelling in the van was awesome and we hope you and your loved ones will also enjoy a happy and memorable adventure with our van.
We got our VW Westfalia camper van because we've always loved the style and the freedom this type of van offers. We used it quite often for trips to the beach and camping.
We also took it on a long road trip across the entire Trans Canada Highway all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. From there we drove to San Diego and then back to Canada. Travelling in the van was awesome and we hope you and your loved ones will also enjoy a happy and memorable adventure with our van.
