Desert Island.The Moosehead Lake region is spectacular for all types of outdoor recreation with endless mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, & streams to explore. Exceptional nature viewing including moose--which outnumber residents by 3-to-1. Lily Bay State Park has amazing on-water sites (though no hook-ups) and boat dockage.We greatly enjoy "off the beaten track" types of places as a family and have plenty more recommendations that we're happy to share!Campsites go quickly in Maine, especially in tourism hot spots, so be sure to book early. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from I-95 Exit 157 for pick-up, but can also deliver the RV within a 100 mile radius for an additional fee.
