All new upholstery and curtains throughout in 2020 and her summer colour makes everyone smile as she drives by! All our vans have the same layout - with the large rear seat being a rock & roll bed and pulls down to a 5ft double bed, as well as another double bed in the pop top canvas, (please note the roof bed has a weight restriction of 16 stone, 2 small adults, it is mainly for children).Included:

5.0We were SO lucky to win a trip in a camper of our choice and we chose Buttercup 🌼 Having hired a camper from Retro campers for our wedding nearly 11 years ago now, we knew they are special! This time, however, we had two extra little people with us and were a bit nervous about space. We hired an awning and used it for the first couple of nights which was great but not on the last night and it wasn’t a big deal! However I guess this is weather dependent. Philippa was so friendly and helpful, explaining everything we would need to know on pick up. Buttercup took a little while getting used to the gears - especially the lower ones! - however she drove so well once you get used to her and it was lovely getting waves from people we passed! She is more spacious than you’d think and everything is laid out really logically with access to essentials like washing up bits and borrowing camper chairs if you need them! I was proved wrong - retro campers are the perfect family break and the north Norfolk coast is the perfect place to explore with one. I wholeheartedly recommend booking - such a special experience you won’t forget!

5.0Be brave and hire a camper - you will not be disappointed! Hired Buttercup and she was a beauty to drive. While family fitted perfectly and had a comfortable and warm stay in Stiffkey. Booking and all communication was first class - which made everything much easier.

5.0We had a fabulous weekend in beautiful Buttercup! The whole process was really well organised and the fleet of vans are beautifully cared for. The videos about how to drive a VW were really useful; Retro Campers supplied a range of camping equipment (from crockery to a fire pit) so we didn’t have to think about any of that; and Vicky really kindly arranged to check us in at a slightly different time due to our availability. A great experience and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you.
