2.0It started great and the 'host coordinator' who met us (Arnold) was awesome! But, once we got to our destination and parked, both the chassis (truck) battery and the house battery died and it was late at night (no we didn't leave anything on). No power meant no folding down the bed, so sleeping was terrible. We had to get a jump the next morning and we could then at least start the generator and have some fun, but we had to cut our 3 night trip to 2 because without the house batteries holding any charge at all, the food in our fridge all spoiled. The host gave us a night back for a refund and $80 for the inconvenience. So a 2 night rental still ended up costing us ~ $1100... kind of ridiculous. Especially because they charged us overage on miles since we only had it for 2 days and therefore went over the 100 mile/day limit. I get that RVs have issues and "stuff happens", that is fine, but I don't feel we ended up paying a fair price for 2 days.

5.0As always our experience with base camp was stellar easy pick up easy drop off. Arnold works hard to accommodate your needs. Very easy to work with and the vehicles are always clean and running top notch!!

5.0Lupe was everything we hoped for and more. Arnold/Basecamp was easy to communicate with, and did a great job accommodating our needs (they added a few amenities for us since we were flying across the country for the trip, which was a huge help!). Lupe was clean, easy to drive, and truly felt like our little home away from home.

5.0We had a great time during our trip! Did a long weekend driving around California, Nevada, and Idaho. Lupe was easy to handle, comfortable, and super convenient. The generator broke on us at the end of our trip which was unfortunate but out if anyone’s control. Arnold was very responsive and helpful.
