Marty provides thorough walk-throughs and is available for questions throughout the trip, including check-ins. Donna is responsive, accommodating last-minute requests, and together they ensure a smooth experience with a printed manual.
Smooth driving, excellent off-grid
The Cocoon drives smoothly and feels light, making it easy to handle even on mountain roads. Its custom off-grid setup provides ample power and doesn't require hook-ups for extended trips. It includes comfortable beds, AC, a composting toilet, and is fully stocked.

5.0We had the best trip traveling through New England in the Cocoon. It drives great and has all the things you might need for camping or boondocking. We had it for 5 days and didn’t need any hook-ups at all, just had to refill the water tank once. Donna and Marty were super helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend to anybody trying to travel through New England this way.

5.0The Cocoon was absolutely perfect. They thought of everything when they built this van. We used it for 9 days and went up the New England Coast then over to the White Mountains. We never even had to plug it in, used it off grid the entire time. It was the most comfortable van ever. Donna and Marty were incredible. They checked on us once to be sure everything was ok and were quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend the Cocoon.

Marty spent the time to familiarize myself with the van (and was available throughout my stay to answer questions as they came up). Their van is extraordinarily setup and outfitted for van life. I'n my opinion its an ideal layout. Donna and Marty thought of everything one might need during a stay, save for supplying your own food. The seats (that convert to beds) were high quality foam and very comfortable. The composting toilet was easy to use and well designed in that it stowed away easily, but was always handy when needed. I had a great time in my first van life experience largely due to this fantastically setup van and home away from home. I would highly recommend 'Cocoon' for a stay. Combine it with Harvest Hosts/Boondookers Welcome and you's have a lovely, comfortable and memorable stay.

5.0Donna and Marty are lovely hosts. They gave us a very thorough walk through of the campervan and how to use it and Marty checked in with us a couple times to see if things were going smoothly. The van is extremely comfortable and exactly as advertised. Our trip in the van was a blast!
