The Dude Bus is a cozy, road-tested Alaska adventure machine — a 5-window mini skoolie built for off-grid travel, wild views, and comfortable nights after big days outside.I recommend flying into Kenai Airport from Anchorage to pick up the Bus. I can drop it off at the airport for you! This would be the easiest way of getting the bus and getting out into the Kenai Penensula.This bus has been my full-time home on wheels for the last few years and has carried me around the country more times than I can count. It is reliable, comfortable, and ready for Alaska. Think of it as a small cabin on wheels: warm, simple, practical, and made for chasing mountains, coastlines, glaciers, campfires, and quiet nights under the midnight sun.Inside, you’ll have the comforts that make life on the road feel easy. The kitchen has enough space to cook real meals, whether you’re parked beside a river, tucked into the trees, or eating dinner with a mountain view out the windows. There is a fridge to keep food fresh, cooking and eating utensils, and plenty of storage for gear, groceries, layers, and all the fun stuff you’ll want to bring along.The bus is set up for true off-grid camping with a full solar system, so you should not need to plug in. It also has Starlink Wi-Fi for staying connected in remote places, blackout insulated curtains for privacy and better sleep, and a heater to keep things cozy when the Alaska weather gets chilly.There are tons of windows, which makes the bus feel bright and open during the day and gives you a front-row seat to whatever view you wake up to. At night, the premium memory foam mattress makes it feel more like a tiny cabin than a vehicle.There are three seats with seatbelts, so you can bring friends along safely for the adventure. The bus also comes with camping chairs, bear spray, an ice machine for evening cocktails while parked, and an optional composting toilet. Take the tunnel through Whittier

The Dude bus was the perfect addition to our group camping trip! All of the amenities worked perfectly, so we never had to worry about water, power, heat or internet for our 4 day trip. The bed was SUPER comfortable, and our 4 year old slept soundly on the bench with a sleeping bag. The hooks on the outside of the bus made it very easy to connect a tarp for rain, and set up our campsite. I was 8 months pregnant, and this bus made my experience much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and rent again in the future!
