If you are looking to try out a Teardrop and / or enjoy the woods without living "inside" a big RV this is the rental for you. This teardrop features a King Size bed, air conditioning, TV, radio, under bed storage, front sun / moonroof, shades, dual entry, roof rack, Dual awnings, hatchback kitchen with microwave, 9v cooler refrigerator, propane stove top, sink, outlets and lighting.
The Boondock edition allows "off grid" camping with solar power.We have enjoyed our T@G and know you will too!Cosa è inclusoWe suggest you bring whatever extras make you comfortable.A ladder to reach the roof rack and extra bungies are stowed in this trailer.RaccomandazioniHighly recommend this if you like tent camping, but not being exposed to every element AND are missing the kitchen at your campsite. There is no heater in this trailer. Using an external plug-in heat source is not allowed.
The microwave, AC and outlets will not work unless you are connected to a power source, and we unfortunately do not have a generator to share. The lighting, fridge/ cooler, sink pump, fan WILL work on solar. (If the trailer is not parked in a sunny spot or if it is particularly cloudy, solar may fail as well after 2 days.) You can bring your own generator which will solve this problem.
This unit needs to be towed by something capable of towing 1300lbs with a hitch weight of 140lbs. It needs a 2" ball hitch with 17-171/2" clearance and a 7 pin trailer connection. (We have used a 7 to 4 pin adapter before successfully) We unfortunately cannot offer delivery or set up.
We WILL consider small (<25lbs), house-trained non-shedding dogs - who are willing to sleep with you in the camper :)
An adult cannot stand in this unit. Please see photos of interior.
There is no toilet or indoor shower.
Do not stand on wheel wells to reach the roof rack. A ladder is provided.We are located in the Borough of State College for pick up.PHOTOS show what your camping experience might look like, but we don't charge for add-ons or extras.
