If you are looking for a stealth camping experience, one where it is much less likely to have a disgruntled neighborhood watch patrol person knocking on your window at 2am, then the chariot is for you.During spring and winter, the weekday (M-Th) price is discounted to $111 !!!The van seats and Sleeps 2 people under 6' tall comfortably. Fully equipped for camping with a wool mattress, storage for clothes, a book shelve, under bed storage, stove, Orca cooler, chairs, table, towels and a surf board package available.The back of the van is a separate garage space, so luggage and other items can be stacked all the way to the roof. The garage space is accessible from the inside so you don't need to get out at night to open the back to get anything.It is packed with everything you need to cook, make coffee and relax wherever you go.We are not a rental company, this is our family camper van and we hope that you will treat it with care and respect. Since we just look like a regular minivan, we have been able traverse the country several times in the past year, camping anywhere we like without the worry of anyone asking us to move.We are happy to answer general questions about van camping, or boondocking, as we have plenty of experience. If you would like some more specific and personalized coaching of local Southern California surf, hiking or general outdorsy spots that are usually only familiar to the locals, we can connect you with someone who will be able to act as a tour guide for a small fee.No cleaning fee is included, as we ask that you bring the van back clean and with a full tank. If you are unable to do that, the cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit.The van is 2018 and has been regularly maintained by the dealership. So we don't expect many mechanical issues out on the road. However, in case of emergencies we require that you purchase the roadside assistance through outdoorsy.If you choose to have the surfboard package, we will put the spare tire in the rear garage area, which will take up some of the storage space in the back.
