Betty is a 2012 170” wheelbase diesel Sprinter Van , newly converted into a camper in 2022. She offers seating for 4 people with seatbelts, and sleeping for up to 4 (two adults, two children). There is a queen sized slide out bed, a small bed underneath the queen, and an optional Luno inflatable mattress for across the front seats. Enjoy home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen including a two burner cooktop, 60L fridge/freezer, and deep sink with hot water for cleanup afterwards. Both the passenger and driver seats swivel to create a dinette for 4 on the lagoon table mount. Make hot or cold lattes with the included Nespresso machine and milk frothier. Take a nice hot shower after your adventures in the enclosed shower, as well as access to a portable toilet when needed (number 1 only please!). Plenty of storage for clothing, food goods, and adventure gear in the overhead cabinets as well as the very spacious garage space underneath the bed. A rear bike rack can fit two mountain bikes, and you can cool off under the large 12ft awning afterwards!Betty is equipped with high end components for maximum comfort. Heat is provided via an Espar diesel heater. There is 30 gallons of fresh water, 20 gallon grey tank for showers, and a 6 gallon grey tank for sink use. There is a 4 gallon water heater, plenty for multiple showers! Two Maxxair ceiling fans provide plenty of ventilation in the summer heat. The entire van in fully insulated and includes insulated window covers for great climate control and fully blackout environment for stealth camping. For power, there are 400 watts of solar on the roof feeding a fully integrated 600 amp hour lithium battery bank by Ecoflow, providing plenty of power for climate control, charging devices, and hot showers.We lived full time in this van with a 2 year old for 6 months, and really enjoyed the design of this van. Hi, Nate and Jill here. We are an adventurous couple who love to ski, bike, hike, and camp as much as possible with our young son.. We love the Southwest, but are originally from the east coast. We just returned from a 6 month road trip with our son, and wanted to share this experience with others, hence why we are renting out our van!
