Comfortable RV, and the host was responsive and flexible with pickup/drop-off. We faced a few issues: non-working Wi-Fi, refrigerator couldn't maintain temp, and propane ran out much sooner than expected. Any pros are overshadowed by the $17K charge for an 11-day trip (initial price of $ 5K). Mostly due to a charge of $35 per mile beyond 100 miles/day. While the fee was (poorly imo) disclosed in the listing, it hadn’t been apparent to me, and even the host acknowledged it was easy to overlook. The host also directly charged me $500 for delivery/pickup, plus the $2K Outdoorsy delivery charge. At vehicle return, I left with the impression we’d work together toward a reasonable resolution, as $8K for an extra 236 miles is obscene. The host indicated he would also account for the equipment issues and propane refill expense when determining the final charges. However, none of those considerations were reflected in the final invoice.

Proof that Josh is a great host! Communication, cleanliness, and listing accuracy were all top-notch. He was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk us through the entire RV, explaining how everything worked. On our way back from the trip, we let him know we couldn’t stop to refill the gas since we were cutting it close to the 11 PM return time. He kindly offered to handle it himself and let us send him the money instead. Truly appreciated his flexibility and professionalism!.
