Van Wilder is a custom-built Storyteller Overland Mode 4x4 adventure van, one of the hottest new vans to hit the market! Storyteller Overland’s approach throughout the entire process of designing, testing, and manufacturing the Mode 4x4 series has been to deliver an adventure-ready vehicle that is… Safe, Simple, Fun, Flexible, Rugged, and Ready to Go at all times!You can seat four and sleep three when you rent this Storyteller Overland Mode. The “groove lounge” fits two car seats or passengers and converts into a bed that sleeps one adult (or two children). Bring along extra gear and make use of the “garage” space under the bed. The kitchen has all the conveniences of a home, including a flip-up sink, refrigerator, and induction stove. There’s even a microwave (rare in camper vans)!Van Wilder is a cold-weather beast in the winter with a built-in heater but can also cool you down with AC on warmer days. This Mode has been specifically upgraded to improve the ride and range, including an Agile Rip Kit, AMP automatic step driver and passenger, door mounted Agile spare tire, and a 48-gallon fuel tank (compared to stock 24-gallon). Van Wilder is ready for anything the road throws your way.With the rooftop solar panels, you’ll be nicely powered up during your trip. Mount Laguna is a short drive with great elevation, great camping sites and amazing hiking. There is also some amazing RV camping sites on the coast that are perfect for a beach getaway like San Elijo State Beach. Big Bear Mountain is full of fun summer and winter activities. Another great place for climbing is Black mountain which is amazing for bouldering. Alabama hills/Lone Pine is another amazing desert escape with great rock climbing and scrambling. It is also super close to Mount Whitney which is full of amazing hikes, rivers and camp sites. Another great place is Bishop which is know for amazing bouldering.
