Meet the Rover XL — a fully built-out VanCraft Waypoint XL on a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170" RWD platform, designed for those who want more of everything. More space. More people. More time off-grid. Whether you're heading out with the family, a group of friends, or a partner and all the gear you could possibly need, the Rover XL has room for it all.With seating for six and sleeping for four, this van was built to handle real group travel without compromise. The rear queen-size bed features a 6-inch memory foam mattress with VanCraft's proprietary bench-back extension, stretching it to a full 6'4". The L-bench converts into a second sleeping area for two more, giving you flexible arrangements for however your group likes to rest. Four lap belts on the bench keep everyone safe on the road.The kitchen punches well above the van's footprint — 40L fridge/freezer, propane stovetop, pressure-regulated sink, and white birch cabinetry with oak countertops that make the space feel like a home, not a campsite. The passenger seat swivels out, and the Lagun table drops in to create a proper dining area or workspace whenever you need it.Off-grid capability is built into every system. A 330-watt solar setup feeds a 400Ah smart-heated lithium battery bank, a 3,000-watt pure sine inverter, and a 40-gallon freshwater tank — enough to stay out for days without thinking about a hookup. The Espar high-altitude diesel heater runs all night in any season, and four-season insulation keeps the cabin comfortable whether it's July in the desert or January in the mountains.
