This is great deal for anyone needing a basic, simple setup for a few days. The drive was smooth and the bed was comfy. It’s pretty fuel efficient too. Communication with the owner was clear and he answered in a timely manner when I had questions. Pick up was convenient with a key box installed on the car. A camping stove, basic cookware and window sun shields are provided. I would totally consider renting from this owner again if I need for a future trip!

It was an experience that has effectively discouraged me from using this kind of rental service. Imagine a badly maintained car nearing 230 000 mileage with no real bed setup (just a mattress on the floor), with zero windshield washer fluid when you desperately need it when driving in the middle of the night because of the owner's booking coordination errors, and a dashboard alerting you repeatedly to the underinflated tyres. The tyres are the winter ones btw, which is not a great indicator of the fuel's efficiency when driving in the middle of the summer. The online picture in no way reflects how rusty (and shaky when driving it) the car was. There were corners inside it that must have been cleaned roughly years ago, including dirty curtains with no hooks (I had to wash them at the camping site ). After half of our 9-night journey, the dashboard started indicating the need for an oil change. For communication, it took 7 days and Outdoorsy intervention for the owner to answer some pre-journey basic questions. In short, I was grateful, we were able to finish the journey (I traveled with my child, which added to the ongoing security concerns throughout).
