Congratulations -- You've found our Sprinter Mercedes RV! Adventures are sure to manifest as you trek down the road in style & comfort to all the majestic sites the US has to offer. We are located in the Monterey Bay - south of San Francisco & San Jose's Silicon Valley in Santa Cruz, CA.With all the upgrades & comfort in our new 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 24WS you will enjoy all the conveniences of home away from home. We call this glamorous camping - "Glamping"!
Please confirm RV park is open & taking reservations due to Covid 19 shutdown. NO Burning MAN reservations allowed!!
We have a 3 Night minimum, 100 free miles per day (.50 per mile on the overage) AND 3 hrs free generator use ($5 per hour on the overage).We allow well-behaved, non-anxious, short hair dog in our rig (case by case basis). There is a required Pet Security Deposit and a per-day pet travel fee taken at the end of the trek. Dogs are definitely part of the family and we'd like to include them in the travel plans. Thor Chateau –Guidelines & Restrictions –
Renters will be required upon pick up to sign and acknowledge these guidelines & restrictions.
1. Renters are required to provide a travel itinerary, # of guests, & destination points before taking our RV on the road.
NO Burning Man excursions!!
2. No Towing or Off-roading: travel on non-public, unpaved, remote fire or ‘logging’ roads is not permitted at any time. RV is equipped with a tracking device. Please stick to the travel destination plans per your contract. Tow hitch is locked & not available for use.
3. No driving south of the US border to Mexico, Tijuana. There is no reimbursement for repairs, lost use, or insurance deductibles for damage in Mexico.
4. Driving North to Alaska/Northern Canada travel is permitted at client’s risk. There is no reimbursement for repairs, lost use or insurance deductibles.
5. Death Valley: Due to extreme temperatures, traveling in or traversing Death Valley is not permitted in July and August. In May, June and September travel is permitted, however, customer is fully responsible for all mechanical problems and/or towing or vehicle recovery costs. Ground temperatures can reach 140º F or 60º C
6. Avoid highly congested cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco where parking & maneuverability is extremely limited.
7. Winter: Travel during winter months is permitted. However, clients are responsible for any damage due to systems freezing due to cold weather. Special instructions will be given for de-winterization of the RV. Freezing conditions may occur in Spring and Fall at higher elevations and should be anticipated and precautionary measures taken.
8. Summer: Travel in summer months and /or in extreme temperatures can strain motor home systems such as roof and dash air conditioners, generator and refrigerator. We maintain our motorhome to accommodate all weather conditions; however, clients should be made aware that performance of motorhome systems under extreme conditions cannot be g
