40' Diesel Pusher American DreamI’ve recently entered the RV world expecting some limited use myself & renting some time to share the joys of traveling to all the sights…. and maybe to help offset my costs :D
My choice to enter this world was this ’99 American Coach diesel pusher with the Cummings 8.3 and Allison automatic transmission known for both their power to handle these units and reliability. The 65k miles on the clock means there’s a lot of life to be had from this unit.Setting up camp is a snap with leveling being done from the drivers seat with hydraulic jacks. Adding extra room is done with the power slide out opening up the living area.External awnings over all the windows help keep things cool, while inside double blinds can filter some light or shut out most of the light.The RV will be clean when picked up with a full tank of fuel. Expectations would be for it to be returned clean and full of fuel. Clean would be to the point of all garbage removed, counters wiped down, any messes taken care of etc. but I would take care of a vacuuming and laundry of the included bedding and linens. Delivery and setup at local sites can also be done with many campgrounds in the area. Delivery to many local events, EAA or music festivals, can also be handled with added costs.
