Affectionately called the Pink Panther, this is a sleek older model lovable unit. For the retro minded, this RV would have been the Cadillac of its day. It purrs along the open road, very quiet. Polyurethane Styrofoam has been applied along the undercarriage so there's hardly any road noise. The big 7.5 litre V8 carries this machine to its destination without hesitation, it loves to drive. This unit is carburated, not fuel injected, so it likes to cough a bit at the start, and then idle a bit rough, but once she's going, she purrs like a kitten. Large picture windows give you a grand view of the great outdoors. This unit boasts a large fridge, separate shower and bathroom, on-demand hot water, yes we installed it, and plenty of storage space. The generator is a pull start with it's own compartment, so no worries about the battery going dead. We installed led lights so it just sips the DC juice anyway. The awning is a breeze to open, and a great addition. The Pink Panther has an A/C on the engine, to keep you cool on the road, but not at the rear. The windows all open, so not a problem this is an airy kitty. One important thing to note: this unit has 2 TWO fuel tanks. It has a switch placed quite prominently on the driver side that switches the tanks. Keep an eye on the fuel gauge and remember which tank you're on and which tank is empty. Fresh linens on the double bed, as well as sleeping bags in the bunk for any extra passengers. We provide the necessities in this unit including utensils, french press and kettle, as well as dishes. RaccomandazioniThis is a recent purchase for us. We've taken this unit to the farm and stayed in it once so far this year. This is an excellent unit to take to the mountains because it loves to ride the open road. It sails along at a cool 100km/h without a care in the world. We would recommend Johnston Creek campground. Everything works, but may not respond as quickly as some of the newer models. The carburated 7.2 L engine likes to sputter a bit when it starts, but give it a little gas and it will go. As mentioned at the top keep an eye on the fuel tanks and remember which one you've used. It also idles a bit rough, sounds like a muscle car. We've also installed an on demand hot water system. This system does not store any hot water, rather it heats the water as you use it, works great.
