Highly accommodating and informative host
Karen (and Doug) provided thorough van system walkthroughs, offered flexible pick-up/drop-off, and were consistently responsive and helpful, even offering rides. They ensured guests were confident before their trips.
Easy and comfortable to drive
The Custom Sprinter 170 (Moby) is noted for its comfortable ride, ease of driving, and maneuverability, even in mountain terrains and parking lots. It's well-built, clean, and fully equipped with amenities like heat, a comfortable bed, and kitchen.

5.0We had an amazing adventure in "Moby" spending 11 days exploring New England, leaf peeping and staying in the state park campgrounds. We were able to drive through the small towns in the mountains of Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine which was like driving through a beautiful fall landscape painting. Each day was a new adventure with a new campground each eveing where we could enjoy a fire, hike and time out of doors. Karen, or host, was amazing- we took the C&J Shuttle from Logan and she met us at the drop off in Portsmouth. Check in was super simple and we had a complete run down on how the systems in the van worked. The van was comfortable, easy to operate, well supplied and absolutely beautiful. I could see that the transformation of the van was a labor of love and well built. Everything worked well and the layout was exactly what we were looking for. Check in was quick and easy and Karen dropped us off at the bus stop for our return to Logan Airport.

5.0The host, Karen, was very accommodating with our pick up and drop off times. She spent a perfect amount of time with us at pick up, familiarizing us with how everything in the Sprinter van works. She was friendly, wonderful to learn from, and very knowledgeable. The van itself is a little older but in excellent condition. When we picked up the van it was clean and well-stocked with literally anything you would need for a road trip. All we needed to bring was ourselves, clothes, and food! We camped in northern Maine over a fall weekend, and having heat in the morning was a treat. Playing cards in a warm comfy van was also great once it got too cool outside at night. I highly recommend this experience to anyone on the fence about what camping in a van is like, or interested in testing out van life. It was great! Our pup loved it too!

5.0We had a fantastic experience renting this campervan! Karen was absolutely lovely: responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The van itself is top quality: reliable, well-built, and surprisingly fun to drive. It had no trouble powering through the White Mountains, which really impressed us. Highly recommend both the van and Karen as a host!

Domande frequenti
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
20A power can be hooked to the van via an external connection to both power all 110V appliances and to keep the van 12V system topped up.
Q.
Is the solar system sufficient to power all our needs?
A.
The solar system will keep all the 12V systems powered assuming you are diligent about conserving power - turn lights off when not needed, don't run heat with the doors open, etc. Winter months may require some charging from the engine if light conditions are low or the panels are covered in snow.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
You have the option of picking up the van in either Portsmouth or at our workshop in Somersworth, NH. C&J Bus service provides airconditioned, WiFi enables shuttle service from Boston Logan airport to Portsmouth.
