2000 Travelaire Travelaire Motorhome
2000 22 ft motorhome. Great living space. Booth style dining table has a big window to watch the world. Powered by a 6.8 litre V10 Triton motor. Two shoulder belts at the front and four lap belts in the cabin. L-shaped seating area slides out to double bed and the dinette folds out a bed. Over head cab is big enough to sleep 2 adults or use as storage. Aftermarket side and rear view camera to help in traffic. 3000 watt inverter and bluetooth stereo. Propane/electric fridge. Hot water tank that lights with a switch inside under the sink. Furnace keeps unit warm. The whole unit is a very cozy experience. Generator available as an add on. Non smoking.

Shout-out to our host Dan for making this a very memorable and seam-less experience (It was our very first time renting an RV). Being our first time, there were elements of fear (operating and parking a big rig, plumbing and electrical etc.); on top of that, we were not sure if our host is picky and uptight (Imagine an army drill sergeant…boots have to be polished, toilet cleaned with a toothbrush etc.)
Our fears were refuted the moment Dan walked out of his house, wearing a big smile on his face. He did not seem too bothered with the fact that we were first timers, “have you driven a moving truck? It is the same thing”. Sure enough, the RV was a beauty, with enough power to get us to where we need to be and compact enough to have excellent maneuverability. There is a back-up camera installed, which made light work of parking and doubled up as a rear-view mirror on the road.
My partner and I took the RV on a 4-day winter trip to Vancouver Island and had an absolute blast! The RV came with everything we needed (kitchen appliances, utensils, RV water pressure regulator, and even gloves for the grey/black water tank). Although an older unit, the RV was very cozy (We were at an RV Park facing the ocean…Imagine the howling wind at night while the furnace kept us snug and warm).
If you are considering renting from Dan, and still on the fence; definitely pull the trigger already!

Great motorhome, no issues while on our trip. Backup camera works great. Owner has great communication and very thorough with tour of motorhome and how everything works. We had a great time, would recommend and would rent again!
