Vacation-ready 2021 Entegra Ethos 20T on a Ram Promaster 3500 van chassis. "Tank", contrary to her name, is economical, easy to drive, and environmentally friendly with her own 190-watt solar power system. This camper van still has a new "car" smell. While Tank isn't as large as her RV cousins on the highway, her smaller size has her drive like a large pick-up truck.Solar power means you can disconnect from the grid for a few days and still have lights and a refrigerator. There is also a generator that can power everything and keep you cool or warm while you are disconnected. Two twin beds can convert into an oddly shaped king-sized bed.Tank is exceptionally Easy to drive, uses regular gasoline (NOT diesel), and gets between 14-18 mpg! Hello. We started with tent camping when we lived in England and graduated to Class A, C, travel trailer, and fifth-wheel campers. We're the type of people that like the journey just as much as we love camping, so we decided to get a class B so that we can take day trips. We have an elderly dog that we don't like to leave alone, so we set up a cheap webcam and attach it to a phone's hotspot so that we can watch our dog live while we shop.
We've had many memorable trips in our campers, but I think the best time was recently when we drove through the Smokie Mountains to visit with family.
We really enjoy Tank, but know that we aren't doing her justice just driving her on day trips or sitting in the driveway. We hope you are able to take her to her full potential and make lasting memories.
