2017 Ram Promaster 159
This 2017 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500 has everything you need for your road trip.- Dinette seating area that turns into bed
- Full or Queen-sized bed option
- 5” medium-density memory foam cushions (flippable, with the firm side having waterproof (dog-proof!) fabric
- 15 gallons of fresh water capacity
- Deep sink with water pump
- 2-gallon gray water capacity
- 2-burner camp stove (with attachment to use with a 1lb “greenie” propane canister)
- Isotherm 3 cubic foot refrigerator
- MaxxAir fan w/ remote (turns on/off with remote only)
- Tons of storage
- USB port and 110 outlet to charge all your electronic devices
- Thule storage box on roof (key is broken off but lock still locks/unlocks with broken key)
- Spice rack with all the spices you’ll need for cooking
- Cookware and eating utensils
- Bedding, to include one large flat sheet, two blankets, and two pillows. Due to the style of bed, we recommend you use the flat sheet as the bottom sheet, bring your own sleeping bags if possible, and use the additional blankets as needed.
- Swivel passenger seatThings to know about the van:- The sliding door needs a good slam!
- The tire pressure light will come on as you go up and down in elevation or as temperatures change. This is normal for Promasters. Tire pressure should be set at 65psi in front and 75psi in back.
A “Check Gas Cap” warning will occasionally appear on the dash. The gas cap is fine and has been checked by a mechanic. This is a common issue with Promasters.
- A dog lived in this van for three years - we made every effort to clean all of the fur out, but if you have severe allergies to dogs, we don’t suggest you rent this van. If you find white fur in the van, know it belonged to a very happy, well-traveled van dog.
- The sliding countertop is not sturdy enough to put weight on when pulled out. Please only slide the top to remove the camp stove. There is a dowel rod cut to length that can be used as a support for the sliding top temporarily but still should not be used for anything weight-bearing.
- We do not suggest leaving the front navigation system/stereo on overnight. It pulls power from your main battery system and can drain your batteries if you have a few cloudy days.
- Do NOT use the percentage reading on the battery monitor. Always use the voltage reading. A fully-charged house battery system will read at 14.2 volts. If the monitor shows 12 volts, your batteries are dead.
- The van has an alternator charger, so batteries will charge when the van is running. If for some reason your batteries get close to 12 volts, turn on the van and (if possible) drive for an 30-60 minutes.
