This is a perfect camper for 2-3 people while still offering a wide range of vehicles that are able to tow it. This camper has all the amenities of our larger units just in a tear drop style and a bit more compact. Open Road Rentals offers all inclusive pull behind campers with everything you need for a successful camping experience. All units are kept in excellent condition, and everything is cleaned after each use. All you need is your own bedding and food. Leave the rest up to us. Generator Rental Fee
No Power? We have you covered. Add on one of our generator rentals to keep your adventure charged. We have a couple generators available to ensure every camper has an option. We will match the generator to the rental. Smaller campers are supplied with a 2000Watt and campers will be supplied with a 3000/3500Watt model.

Holding Tanks - Dump Fee
The camper must be returned with empty grey and black holding tanks. The black holding tank should also be cleaned with onboard cleaning system. If you would like us to do this for you just add this to your checkout.

I had several issues with the camper. I had it rented for 12 days for a trip to CO with my daughter and we came home early from the trip. There was a terrible smell from the sewer/toilet area that intensified and flushing the tank and adding chemicals did not help. It made being in the camper miserable. The shower leaked water onto the floor and the refridgerator door would not stay closed when traveling and we had to throw food out. We were in contact with Open Road Rentals by day 2 or 3, hoping to get the issues solved. We had to drive to an RV mechanic and spent time and gas, and the mechanic wasn't able to fix the problem without us leaving the camper with him and us finding a different place to stay. Open Road Rentals knew we had ongoing issues and did not bother to check back with us to see if the leaking shower was fixed. The mechanic from CO checked in with us several times to see how we were doing but I would have expected to hear from the rental company. Their silence did not go unnoticed. I also paid for the Peace Of Mind insurance almost $500 to ensure a smooth trip but these issues were not covered with the insurance plan. I sent a message to Open Road Rentals when I got home detailing the issues we had and asking to be reimbursed for gas money spent to travel to see the mechanic and for having to throw food out and cutting our trip short due to the terrible smell. They did not respond to me and that was 5 days ago.

What a great and flexible owner! Open Road Rentals came through for us after our 4 month in the planning camping trip with our original camper rental was canceled with one weeks notice. Open Road Rentals was able to outfit us with just 3 days notice, even with a bike rack. THANK YOU!!!! The Bushwhacker Plus has the basics and is one of those smaller campers that we were able to pull with our van. It was perfect for our family reunion in the Chippewa National Forest!
