Allie is highly communicative, responsive, and accommodating. She provides clear instructions, helpful information, and is flexible with pickup/dropoff, making the rental process smooth and stress-free.
Easy to drive and well-equipped
Helen is a well-designed, cozy "home on wheels" with ample storage, a full kitchen (oven/stove), and stocked with essentials. Guests find it easy to drive and park, though one experienced a stiff sliding door and another reported persistent sensor issues and lack of AC.

5.0Let me tell you from start to finish my experience and trip was terrific. My host was wonderful very accommodating with me. Helen was the perfect fit for me and my dog/ co pilot Peepa. It literally felt like a cabin on wheels perfect description. Felt just like home. I loved all the little details in the van and all the storage space was great. I love to cook so having the oven and stove range was so nice. Thanks again and I look forward to my next adventure in Helen hopefully soon. Pura vida!

5.0Overall - this is an excellent camper van, and both the van (aka ‘Helen’) and owner Allie were wonderful and nothing but good vibes :) Allie was SO communicative and helpful throughout the entire rental and provided clear instructions and information about the various bells and whistles of the van. The van was so organized, came stocked with all the essentials and more, and made “camping” at a 5 day festival a breeze! The van was also surprisingly easy to drive, especially with the back up camera. Allie was so flexible and patient at pick up and drop off. My only note is that the sliding van door was very hard for me to close, particularly from the inside of the van (thus 4 stars for mechanical). It was not a huge deal because I was able to climb through driver cabin or have friends close it from the outside at night to ensure it locked. Thank you!! :)

1.0The ad said their was ac and there isn't one and that's the WHOLE REASON I GOT THIS RENTAL. the dishs were dirty/had dirt or something stuck to them. Even though owner told us about the sensors sometimes going off it went off IT WENT OFF THE WHOLE DRIVE THERE AND BACK

4.0The van had its qwerks but nothing we couldn't work around. The layout with both a cooktop and oven was great. Handled well but with a little oversteer. We rented this van as a "test drive" for a van trip in Alaska and it fit the bill.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
No hook up is generally needed for charging small things like phones/computers/cameras etc. The solar will do all of the work. Water is a hose fill up and a grey water bucket to tip out. Super easy!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Times are flexible and only listed in case their is a booking the night before. We offer drop off and pick up at the airport and train stations, etc and can be pretty flexible with this if we have an idea of what your needs are we can come up with a solution that makes it easy for everyone!
