My name is Bob and I'm a native Californian who grew up with a love for VW vans. I had a 65' Westphalia in high school and a VW Eurovan after becoming a parent for 8 years. I love camper vans and the van life. Last summer I bought 'Stella' my 2021 Dodge Ram Promaster and had her converted to a camper van by VanWorks in Ft. Collins, CO. I am married with 2 girls and live in Novato, CA in Marin County. I love taking trips to Yosemite, Big Sur and anywhere there are redwoods.

Great rental. Bob was really helpful and the van was in great shape. We slept in the van with our two kids comfortably.

Stella was great! Easy to drive, very comfortable to hang in and the sleeping was fantastic. The solar battery worked great and kept the fan on all night to move air, fridge was super helpful for the cool drinks and all in all a great rig for the weekend or longer. Bob is also incredibly easy to work with. Highly reccomended

We took Stella out for a weekend camping trip with our toddler. Bob was extremely welcoming and communicative throughout the whole process. He provided us with an easy up, camping chairs, a solar shower, and tables at no extra cost. At check in, Bob explained Stella’s features clearly and ran me through everything. When we got to the camping site I knew everything I needed to know and we had no issues at all. Stella was clean and in great shape. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a seamless and comfortable camping experience. We will use Bob again for our next adventure! Thank you Bob!

We had the best trip! We really appreciated the extra equipment, the fridge and bed already made for us. Stella drives like a dream: very quiet and smooth, with all the comfort we wanted. Mileage was good even though I used the a/c and was driving in the hills! Parking was so easy, and the back up camera was a plus! The owner is flexible, which made planning extra stops and unexpected diversions fun, like a road trip should be!

Stella Blue was the perfect companion for our trip to the Pacific Northwest! Rain or shine, she was a total trouper. She had plenty of room for the two of us AND our two big German shepherds so we were comfortable and cozy the entire time, even during the inevitable downpours. Bob was great to work with and made every part of the transaction as easy as it could be. Five stars for both Bob and Stella Blue.

Q.How many miles to the gallon does she get?
A.
About 17 on the freeway. She has a V6 and is pretty fuel efficient for her size.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I'm flexible on pick up and drop off times. As early as 8 AM and drop off as late as 6ish.
Q.Can I park my car at your house while I'm on my trip?
A.
Yes! You can park in my large driveway so it's not on the street. It's a very safe residential neighborhood.
Q.Can you drop Stella off at my house?
A.
Yes - but there is a fee to cover my time and the expense of going back and forth in an Uber or getting a ride.
