The van drives smoothly and easily handles mountain roads. It's meticulously designed, fully equipped with a large, comfortable bed, massive fridge, slide-out kitchen, ample storage, reliable power, charging ports, and mood lighting.

5.0I rent a van each year for an annual trip. This was my favourite experience so far. Darryl clearly takes great pride in his vehicle. He designed it right down to each detail and provided digital and paper guides on how to operate it. The fridge, lights and fan have massive capacity, all recharging easily with driving. Not having to use a cooler made keeping pre-made meals in the fridge healthy and ready to go. We were in a loud environment, yet slept incredibly well in the cozy large bed with white noise from the ceiling fan. Darryl was communicative, responsive and pleasant to interact with. We encountered an issue where a part had failed a few days renting beyond his control. He did everything he could to fix it, and while getting the repair in time wasn't possible he adjusted to rate to ensure this remained a 10/10 experience, which it was.

5.0Darryl’s van had everything we needed for a weeklong trip in Squamish and Vancouver Island! There were so many thoughtful touches to the buildout that made it so comfortable and seamless to stay in. Darryl also made the process so easy and provided helpful information before we left. Would definitely use this van again!

5.0We had a great time in the van, bed was super comfy and was really well set up to make us fully self sufficient. Darryl was a fantastic host that was super responsive for any questions we had and kept in touch the whole way. Would highly recommend to anyone!

5.0Golden was beyond perfect for our month long adventure 💜 the bed was incredibly comfortable (I'm 6 2 and picky hahaha). She drives like a dream, handling the mountain roads easily. The layout of the interior offers lots of storage space, charge ports, and cute additions such as mood lighting and a wine cupboard. During our adventure we got a flat tire, the host (Darryl) was quick to respond, provided great support, and was wonderful to work with overall! Outdoorsy sent a mechanic to switch the tire over and we were back on the road in under 4 hours. We were lucky to find Stay Golden, she felt like home, and would recommend her to anyone looking to check van life off their bucket list 💜

5.0Stay Golden is well set up. The slide out kitchen is perfect, the chairs have their own storage cubby and are tall backs with arm rests. You can set up a pergola at the back of the van to extend the kitchen space. set up chairs and have a little dining area outdoors. The cooler is huge, easily keep full size milk and eggs and condiments and the like. There are adapters for phones and electronics strategically placed in the van so you never have to search for a plug. Also multiple interior light options for mood and tasks. The bed is comfy and large enough for two grown folks. There is space at foot of bed for transitions so you are not stepping over a cooler or cooktop to go in and out. Cupboards have good storage and interior lights. Plus there are two convenient cup holder by the bed so you don't have to worry about juggling or spilling. Highly recommend.
