Stay Golden

We recently rented this RV for a one-day trip, and it was honestly a perfect experience from start to finish. The van is incredibly well thought out — every little detail has been considered. It’s fully equipped with all the amenities you could need, plus so many small, useful touches that made the trip comfortable and stress-free. The setup inside is super practical and cozy, making it easy to just relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about anything. Whether it was storage, cooking essentials, or overall layout, everything felt intuitive and convenient. On top of that, the entire process of contacting and coordinating with the host was very smooth. Communication was quick, clear, and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had such a great time and would absolutely recommend this RV to anyone looking for a hassle-free getaway. We’re already looking forward to booking it again!

Darryl’s van is very well designed and was the perfect fit for my trip in the mountains. He made the time to explain all little details about the functionality of the camper portion and it did make the experience easy and smooth. The pick up location is also very easy to find and central between mountains and city. I will be back :)

We had the most amazing weekend with Darryl’s camper, it served us perfectly and kept us cozy on the rainy nights on Saltspring! Everything in the camper is so meticulously thought out and he made sure to utilize every inch available to maximize ease and comfort. The inside area is gorgeous with all the wood detailing and there is lots of light. Everything was clean and it had absolutely everything we needed for our camping trip. Darryl gave us a full run down of everything we needed to know and we felt confident if any issues arose. Will absolutely be booking again for future trips!

The van is great and the perfect choice for our trip! We are so happy we picked this van for our nine day trip in the Rocky Mountains. Our host Darryl really thought of everything when putting together this van. It is equipped with plenty of cutlery, dishes, cooking station fridge, and a large water container! The lightning concept in the van is really thought through and there’s plenty of opportunities to charge your phone. Bed is really comfortable! Darryl was great. If we ever back in the area, we will rent this van again.

We had the most wonderful experience imaginable both in our communications with Outdoorsy and in our interactions with our host,Darryl. Darryl (and his camper van, “Stay Golden!”) was the BEST! Super friendly, kind, and thorough in orienting us to the van’s many wonderful features, it was clear that Darryl’s genuine focus was ensuring we had all we needed for a fantastic trip on the Sea to Sky Highway! As first time camper van renters and visitors to BC (from Massachusetts, USA), we appreciated Darryl’s attentiveness so much. And we loved “Stay Golden”—it was fully equipped for all our needs, very clean, comfortable, and perfect for our travels! We couldn’t recommend this host and van more highly!
