My friend and I took Vanilla Bean up the coast from Newport Beach. We parked it in SLO for a night and then continued on to Big Sur. This camper van exceeded our expectations! It’s very comfortable and reliable.

My wife and I rented the Vanilla Bean from Newport Beach and drove her everywhere, we went to LA, Sequoias, Santa Barbara and back home. Outdoorsy made everything easy and would absolutely recommend to friends and family!

Very cool van with great layout and features. The hosts were super friendly. Over all I had a pretty good experience as a first time Outdoorsy user. Here were my pros and cons... Pros: Hosts were SO friendly, the van had plenty of solar and battery power to run all of the van systems without hookups, great layout, and great equipment. Cons: van was very squeaky on the road, alignment pulled to the left, there was a screw in the tire at the time of pickup, water tank was half full and toilet had not been emptied, lights near bed came on at random all the time, mattress was hard and the bed was too short for me (I'm 6') so I didn't end up sleeping in the van. Still, it was a good value (before outdoorsy fees) and would recommend this to anyone on a budget that isn't very tall. That said, I will not be using Outdoorsy again, as their fees are CRAZY high. You will be charged for insurance ($200+), prep, taxes, fees, mileage, etc that will easily triple the total cost. Way too expensive for what you get and seems like false advertising with so many hidden fees.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

At our family-owned business, we value our customer's needs and strive to accommodate your schedules. We will inquire about the most convenient pickup and drop-off times for you. Normal pick up is 3pm and drop off is at 11am with a 30-minute gracing period will be honored. Optimize your schedule by taking advantage of our late drop-off & early pick-up service which will remove your stress and grants you additional time for relaxation. The earliest pick up is 7am and the latest drop off is 6pm
