We liked the trailer but we were not told that it was not set up for dry camping.. It has an electric refrigerator that the battery could not keep up with. Soon it drained everything until we no lights. We had asked for them to fill the water tank for us and after one sputtering shower found out it had not been filled. We spent five days without a shower or a flushing toilet.

Robert does a great job of explaining the features available on the rental unit and how to operate the various components. KunesRV doesn't make the camper but I had to downgrade the rating due to a window detaching from the hinge on our journey through IA and the stove glass plate cover shattering for no apparent reason. Fortunately, no one was in the camper when the cover shattered. Appreciate the credit to the rate based on these issues we had to deal with on our journey.

River did a great job going over the features of the trailer and answering any questions we had and we left comfortable with using the trailer. It was clear before we left the trailer was not cleaned. I mentioned to the attendant the refrigerator needed wiping down and inquired if the camper had been cleaned. He said someone would finish up, but unfortunately we found much more on our first stop. The toilet and shower had clearly not been cleaned and we found water bottles and personal items from the previous renters in the trailer. The license plates were 3 months expired on the trailer. When hooked up to water, regardless of pressure the water connection at the toilet leaked. The sensor unit on the wall did not accurately read the water level or the black/grey water levels. We did attempt to use ice down the toilet trick to reset, but were unable. Also, the sink would not run unless hooked up to a water source, regardless of the water tank being full. Cole who checked us back in was great - but we were disappointed in our first rental experience. We plan to rent again as we determine what type/size of camper would work best for us as we hope to make a purchase relatively soon. I will make a thorough examination of the camper before leaving the next time we rent and will think twice about using Kunes.
