What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
To accommodate any changes in your schedule, we allow self-service pick up and drop off from 5:00am - 10:00pm on the day of your reservation. This makes it easy for you to grab your van and return it when it’s the most convenient. Your van will be ready with a full tank of gas, our premium camping gear, any add ons you selected for your rental, and maybe even a “Slocal” treat from one of our favorite local bakeries :)

What comes with a rental?
A.
In addition to your van, each rental includes all the essential cooking, sleeping and camping gear. See the full gear list at govancamp.co/included Everything we include is premium camping gear that we’ve come to know and love when we take our own trips. There’s so much great camping gear these days so we spent some money on the good stuff! Most rental companies charge extra for the gear we include. That’s something to consider when shopping around :)

How many people fit?
A.
Our VW Vanagon, Murphy, has five seatbelts and can sleep up to four people (two down below and two in the “pop top”). Most of our renters are couples, but two adults and two children sleep comfortably in one van. Four adults is a little snug, but we do it all the time. You can also rent or bring an extra tent, too.

Where can I go?
A.
Anywhere in the great state of California, with a couple exceptions. We do ask that you stick to the pavement and maintained dirt roads — your insurance won’t cover you elsewhere, and rough roads are very hard on these vehicles. Burning man festival is off limits. Death Valley is also off limits.
