Our trailer is perfect for the first timers (we will teach you the ropes) right down to the weekend warriors.We have a welcome binder that has all information available. We also will require a walkthrough and checklist to be completed during pick up so all parties know what's included and expected. Also, no hidden extra fees. **Please note we only have a nightly fee and cleaning fee of $150, and separately we have add-on options. Outdoorsy offers 3 options for a mandatory insurance plan and also offers trip protection (neither of which have anything to do with us).Important* All you need is the hitch and brakes receiver and a truck or SUV with tow weight of 5,000lbs minimum to book. We've got the rest covered (See additional info).This IS NOT AN OFF Roading Trailer. If you wouldn't take your Porsche or Tesla down the road, don't pull this trailer down it. Immediate Loss of Full Deposit. Please stick to paved or leveled roads/trails.Pick up - Allow up to 45 minutes for hookups, a walkthrough, checklist completion and any questions.Drop Off - Easy drop off with no cleaning or dumping necessary. It's included in our cleaning fees which is $150.Only Dogs allowed - any additional cleaning or damage will be taken out of security deposit. 5. No speeding with Midge, her speed limit is 65. Please refrain from speeding more than 65 with the trailer for safety reasons. We've had renters blow tires for speeding and it's an excessive cost at your expense.
6. Follow all road rules.
7. Return Midge with minimal to average dirtiness. Anything excessive like mud from festivals, muddy season, damage from snow/rain etc will result in extra cleaning and damage fees.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We are flexible. We understand that traveling comes with complications or delays. As long as there's communication on your end, we will do our best to accommodate. Please do keep in mind we are both students and both have jobs.

First and foremost, safety. Attach BOTH safety clips AND brake clip to truck.
Unlatch safety hitch lock.
Lower all trailer stabilizers leaving the MAIN ONE for last.
Lower trailer onto the truck, once it connects, latch the lock, SAFETY PIN.
RAISE trailer again, attach weight distribution bars (stick side up), FOUR SAFETY PINS.
Lower trailer back down onto hitch.
Connect brake controller, check brakes.
CHECK ALL SAFETY PINS AND CONNECTIONS.
Remove all wooden boards from tires and stabilizers.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

Easy! We have everything in the compartment by the hookups that you will need!
WATER: Filter from the trailer to the hose to the water pressure regulator to the spout
ELECTRIC: just the cable
SEWAGE: keep both closed. Attached sewage hose to camper first, then to dump hole. Make sure it's all twisted in and secure. OPEN AND KEEP OPEN GREY WATER. Open Black water, ONLY when need to dump. Keep foot on toilet handle for a bit to flush. Don't forget to close Black water when done.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Please remember that steering while in reverse is opposite. While reversing, put your hand AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL. To put the butt of the trailer to the right, turn upwards to the right. To put the butt of the trailer to the left, turn wheel upwards to the left. General reverse, it's easiest to move the wheel back and forth to straighten it out.
Take your time. It can get frustrating. BREATHE. It'll all be okay. If you get it wrong, pull forward, breathe, and try again.
