Our 2022 Airstream Interstate Grand Lounge is opulent and powerful. Built on the venerable Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 4x4 chassis, there isn't a back road or mountain pass you can't comfortably climb in absolute style.
Our daughter gave the Airstream several nicknames: "the dinosaur," "the campy," "the big black bus." She's three so I have to give her a lot of credit for creativity.
Being a brand new Airstream you will find tons of amenities. Everything is powered including the window shades, the sliding door, the awning, and the seats/bed. A premium sound system connects via bluetooth or plays the audio from either of the two large TV's. You can comfortably watch from the four swivel captains chairs up front, or recline on the rear bench that converts to a king size bed. There are three control panels throughout the cabin so you don't have to move from that perfect spot to change any settings.
The included components that really make this a luxury camping experience are: whisper-quiet on-board generator for powering the a/c, microwave, and charging any electronics; inverter for running TV's, powering outlets, and putting on a camp concert; large prep counter with full sink and two-burner propane stove; a propane heater and water heater; and a full wet bath.
Driving the "Dinosaur" is easy. Mercedes-Benz is known for their comfort, safety, and technology, and it all comes standard on our Airstream. Adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist make cruising a breeze. A massive dashboard screen includes satellite navigation and radio, bluetooth, and vehicle settings. Multiple overlapping views come from the four different rear-facing cameras, giving you an unparalleled ability to see traffic, trees, or the lake shore as you cruise along or back into the perfect spot.
Once you've parked, the Airstream's stabilizing jacks automatically find the exact level position. You can control every aspect of making camp from the screens inside.

Responsive support, with one cancellation
Ryan is praised for excellent communication, being available for questions, and providing great support and instructions to resolve minor issues. One booking was automatically canceled 3 days prior to departure.
Comfortable drive, well-equipped amenities
The van offers a comfortable ride, is easy to park, and has good gas mileage. It includes an awesome camera system, luxurious shower, efficient generator, and auto-leveling. Minor issues like a squeaky door and hot upper compartments were noted.

Additionally, AVM offers trip extras to maximize your Montana experience. Extras include kayaks, tents, camp stoves, bike racks, rooftop tents, truck bed racks, and so many more! Ask yourself, what’s the point of coming to Montana if I can’t play in the woods or water? It’s pretty much what makes this place unforgettable.
