This rigs are a dream come true for us, they really does give you the freedom to make plans on the go which is my style. I love taking it to the keys to do some sport fishing or overnights camping. It's also perfect for driving since it's a relatively small rig compare to the big Astro buses and yet has all the essentials that I needed. The best feature to convince the wife to come along was the inside shower with 5% tints and black out shades for total privacy. We have also added a few accommodations like a 4000 Watts generator, 3 solar panels and a 2nd converter for of grid power. This gave me a huge peace of mind when traveling without plans. I have also taken the steps of recoding how every items works inside this rig to instruct folks and preserve the beauty of the rig. The longest trip we have taken was about 10 days from San Francisco to Miami.

We had a wonderful time in this van! Affectionately know as Trixie during our travels. We did a whole month around the United States and the only trouble we ran into with the van itself during the trip was the oil filter needing to be changed.

Overall we had a nice trip and enjoyed the van. Elias was friendly and got back to us when we had issues/ questions. However, we ran into a number of issues that created inconveniences for us that easily could have been avoided had the van been properly checked over prior to our trip. The biggest issue was that the toilet was broken the first time we went to use it. Elias did offer us a discount for this when we requested one, which we appreciated - however it was a problem the entire trip especially since we had booked a few places through Hip Camp that required fully contained campers/ RVs (aka there were no bathrooms), leaving us in bind to find other campsites last minute. There were other issues that came up that we were not thrilled about, for example there were no towels, the kitchen draw/ cabinet areas were a mess, and some garbage had been left behind from a previous trip. Due to this we would just rate this experience renting from Elias as okay but not great.

Elias was very friendly when we got there, I did an inspection of the van to make sure everything was ok, the small fridge was turned off and had a small odor so I was not happy that our food would not be immediately refrigerated until the unit got cold. The overall cleanliness of the van was not good as I showed Elias how dirty the bathroom area was, to which he told me the older lady who cleans does not do a good job, this was very disappointing because I had to clean bathroom area and throw away last renters' personal items, it appeared as if no one had bothered to clean or check prior to us renting the shower curtain which was not well secured and also on the railing with zip ties was to long for shower area and when it rained there was a leak coming from the vent section inside the shower I have a video. The front area of the vans storage on doors was also very dirty, I don't understand how this was not inspected by owners prior to our arrival. Once at our campsite there was a piece missing for the hook up to which the campground employee gave us an extra that he had. The van was stocked with the near none to bare essentials, the towel paper roll was less than half and we ran out by end of day. Towels could be much nicer, and having bathroom essentials would have been nice. I would not rent this RV again and hope that the owner takes better care of the van. I could send pics to back up my review.
