Responsive and accommodating hosts

Monique and Kevin are highly responsive to questions and accommodating, even scheduling repairs to minimize guest inconvenience. They provide travel tips. Note: one instance of a forgotten pickup and an automated cancellation have occurred.

Easy to drive, capable 4x4

The RV is easy to drive, even for its 32-foot length, with good power, capable 4x4, and compression exhaust. Amenities include a large fridge, effective heater, outdoor entertainment, and a private main bedroom. Currently, the jacks are inoperable and the fridge latch needs repair.

When we got there, she had forgotten that we were picking up the rig. Fortunately, it was clean. Unfortunately, they had a recent accident where the jacks were rendered completely inoperable. We are very experienced RV campers and were only renting because our 40' rig had a front blow out this summer and is still being repaired. So we had the gear to stabilize and level the rig without the jacks. Otherwise, this would have been a show stopper given our time constraints. There would have been no way we could have found another rig in time so we took possession and loaded it up. The rig itself was fine except the fridge opened 3 times on the road before we got to the camp site. Turned out that the rod holding the fridge closed was able to wiggle loose because the stopper was too short. I ended up putting a pencil in with some duct tape around it to prevent it from sliding through and that stopped the fridge from opening. Otherwise the chassis had lots of power, sleeping was fine, and the 4x4 drivetrain was nice when we went off pavement. Fridge is nice a big and the heater worked very well. We slept 5 people and had a fantastic week. Once the jacks are fixed, the unit will be excellent for an average camper looking for a solid rig for the weekend.
