This Jayco Jay Flight SLX 184BS is a lightweight and family-friendly camper designed to make your trip simple, comfortable, and fun. With a dry weight of around 3,350 lbs (Gvwr 4,300 lbs), it’s easy to tow yet spacious enough to sleep up to 6 people with a queen bed, bunk beds, and a convertible dinette. The slide-out creates extra living space, making it feel open and cozy. The hitch (tongue) weight is approximately 380–400 lbs when dry and will increase once loaded with gear, propane, and water, so please make sure your tow vehicle is rated for it. To tow safely, your vehicle must have at least a 5,000 lb towing capacity, a 2” receiver hitch, a 7-pin wiring connection, and a trailer brake controller. Campsites should be equipped with a 30-amp power hookup to run the air conditioning and all electrical features. Trailer tows wonderfully! We traveled from pick up to Keystone, SD then Cody, WY then Estes Park, Co and finally home. Towed with a 2020 Ram Rebel. We had zero issues with anything mechanically. Owners were awesome, and communication was instant. Everything was clean and ready when we got there. Fit our family of 4 perfectly.
