Good and clean condition 2006 Vista Cruiser Mercedes/Freightliner Sprinter Class-B RV/Camper van. I maintain this vehicle regularly and it is in good shape for any type of road-trip. This van has a diesel engine and a propane generator. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. There are two captains chairs in front with seatbelts. There’s a dinette area in the rear that folds down into a full-size bed for sleeping, and it is pretty comfortable. Mini kitchen area with 2-burner gas stove, microwave, and fridge. There’s a small but private bathroom with shower. There is a water heater that heats the water to 20 degrees above ambient temperature. Water will get warm, but not hot. Cold blowing AC in the coach and also a good furnace that keeps you warm even in the cold winter months. You can camp comfortably throughout the winter in this RV (although your use of water in the winter may be limited). If winter camping, it is highly suggested to go to a campsite where you can use bathrooms and showers indoors. There’s a lot packed into this cozy space! Easy to drive (like a big minivan) and to park (fits in a regular parking space). The van gets about 20 miles per gallon on average (approx. 18 mi/gallon city and 22 mi/gallon highway). Please contact me with any questions and I will respond to you right away. I have traveled extensively in my van and I know it well.Cosa è inclusoI will stock the camper with towels, sheets, pillows, a comforter, basic kitchen utensils and basic cookware. I also include a 30 amp power cord and a water hose. There is also a sewer hose stored beneath the RV that you can use.RaccomandazioniI’ve driven all around the East Coast and Midwest in this rig. Slept at State Parks and even Walmart parking lots at times. I have also plugged in outside of family/friends houses. This thing can really take you anywhere. It is a versatile home on wheels!Altre cose di cui prendere notaPlease return the RV in the same good and clean condition you found it in. You must return it with a full tank of diesel fuel and also a full propane tank. If you have trouble finding a propane station to fill up, I can fill it up and charge you for this. It's $6 per gallon of propane. If you are camping and there is a sewage dump station, please empty your black and gray tanks before returning the RV. If you are not in a location with a dump station, I can dump for you once you return the RV for a fee of $50. Also very important is that you follow my instructions regarding the batteries (I will give you full instructions), both vehicle and house batteries. I care for and maintain my batteries and if you deeply discharge them and they need replacement, I will need to charge you for this and batteries are not cheap these days. Thank you for understanding.

Responsive, helpful, and detailed

Andy consistently provides quick responses and patient, detailed explanations of the RV's systems, especially beneficial for first-time renters. He also prioritizes safety, cancelling a booking due to emergency brake work.

Easy to drive, well-equipped

Reviewers note the RV is easy and smooth to drive, handling well even on mountain roads. Despite its older model year, it's reliable, clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with off-grid capabilities like a generator, suitable for 1-2 people.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation with the RV. Even though the RV is a bit older, it has done a great job and has always accompanied us faithfully, no matter where we wanted to go. Everything works and you have everything you need to camp completely off grid. Andy as a host is great, he answers all questions very quickly, took the time to explain to us exactly how the systems in RV work and what we have to pay attention to. I appreciate his very friendly and personable manner. It was our first time ever camping with an RV and we loved it. We can highly recommend Andy and his RV. Anne and Fabian

We had the best experience renting Andy’s camper van! As first-time camper van travelers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Andy made everything easy and enjoyable from start to finish. He was incredibly communicative, helpful, and responsive to all our questions. The van was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable adventure. Highly recommend booking with Andy—you won’t be disappointed!

Domande frequenti

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

I have the RV parked and ready in a private driveway. You can leave your car in the driveway for free during your booking if you want. I have security cameras installed there. We can discuss this when you book. I can also deliver to you at an airport, campground, or your house, etc. for an additional fee. If you want to take the train from New York, I can also meet you at Metuchen Train Station to do the exchange. This option has worked well for people coming from New York City.

Hello, thanks for checking out my profile and my RV listings. I live in New Jersey, pretty close to New York. I love the RV lifestyle and have taken time to learn a lot about my RVs over the years (there is so much to learn!). I've taken my RVs camping, boondocking, and on some longer trips -- even in the winter months. I'd love to be able to share my RV experience with you. Please check out my listings and let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to renting to you soon!
