Simple Camper

The car was clean and comfortable. The battery didn't work well we had 3 times a dead battery. And note that in kauai there are almost no place available for camper van so in the end we slept half of the time in the tent. Melvin was a great host and helpful

Melvin was really laid back and helpful. The camping car was great. I had a lovely experience. Would definitely do again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ However, really not sure I would use Outdoorsy again. Warning for international travellers, they take an additional charge from you card -even if you pay in dollars and they are slow getting the deposit back to you (they blame the bank, but I've had other deposits returned more quickly, whilst still waiting for theirs. If you can go direct to the owner or use another company I'd suggest it's a better route.

Loved this van! Had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable, my bf who’s 6’1 even fit which is hard in camper vans. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to experience van life on Kauai.

Melvin was the best and the van was perfect for this trip!

Melvin was very easy to deal with and very accommodating to our needs in terms of picking up the van on Christmas Day. Van was great overall and is as it appears in the photos when booking. Well-equipped with a comfortable bed and lots of supplies to go along with the van life e.g. camp chairs, separate tent, cooking equipment, cooler box. While the van is an older model, it drove very well and we had no problems throughout our journey. We had a fantastic experience exploring all different parts of Kauai and loved our holiday experience in the van.
