2017 Forest River Forester - Family fun, easy and comfortable

Beware. If you have any other option, I would strongly recommend picking that. We’ve rented at least 12 different times some from the same, as a repeat when we can, and lots just totally new experiences. We have specific needs and we look for what will suite our family. We don’t need it to be the latest and greatest. Our kids compete with their animals so we work hard in barns all day long. From sun up to sundown. We are hardly in the actual RV. We bring our Blackstone so we don’t have to heat up the rv and cook in the kitchen…. All we need it for is a hot shower and a clean place yo lay our heads. This listing had said it was everything we were looking for when I booked it. Sleeps 6, hot water, clean, ac…. The only part of that that ended up being true was that it slept 6. It was filthy. When I say filthy I mean there was hair that was not mine all over the blankets they had in the bed. The inside of the bed was sandy. We didn’t bring our own bed linens as the listing said it had them. There were dried spills that were clearly months old. It made you wonder if the thing had ever been cleaned. And I could get over that if the hot water worked. No. Hot. Water. My very handy husband spent hours on it trying to get it to work. HOURS. Turns out the valves had been shut off, he opened them but still no such luck. We’d get 2 seconds of rain luke warm and right back to feeezing. I told outdoorsy it felt like we had been duped. They said to as him for a refund or reimbursement that he should want to make it right. He basically told me I was up in the night and to go fly a kite. …. Gas lighting me saying we must not know how to run an rv. Listen kindly sir…. We’ve rented so many of these and never had a problem. We are VERY accustom to RV living. He was literally insulting. I mean it when I say….. if you have ANY other option, take it!!!! I would feel so bad for any family that was subjected to this and then the ability to know you didn’t provide a service someone paid a lot of money for but you take all the money anyway is just wrong. We were robbed by this guy. I hope others write their reviews on other platforms. The guy is a con artist!

David was an excellent Host. The RV is beautiful and worked perfectly for our family of 5. Pickup and drop off of the RV was a breeze. It drives and handles great. Highly recommend renting this RV!
