We have also been to several national parks in Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. We have also taken short trips to Mt. Charleston, Pahrump, Valley of Fire, and Lake Mead. The motor home should not be driven in poor weather conditions requiring chains.

Hosts were responsive to questions, helped with a last-minute cancellation, and provided a detailed walkthrough. They responded promptly to in-trip queries.
Drives like a rickety tin can
The RV has 111k miles, drives poorly, and has significant mechanical issues like a generator that won't stay on while driving. It also has cleanliness problems with dirty AC filters and crumbs under beds.

1.0This was the first time we rented an RV from a private owner on a platform like this. I guess the expectation of cleanliness and maintenance of a commercial RV rental shouldn’t be the same. Wish we had the chance to do a pre-rental walkthrough to ensure the accuracy of a rental and its photos. This RV has 111k miles on it and certainly drives like a rickety tin can. We were worried about it making it through Death Valley on our trip to and from Vegas to SoCal in July. The RV was bare minimum cleaned. The air filters for both ACs are disgusting, under the beds were covered in crumbs and junk from previous rentals, many mechanical hitches like the generator won’t stay on longer than a few minutes and definitely not while driving. So it’s extremely hot throughout the entire cabin for the drive and everyone had to pile up right up front next to the driver AC. Lots of little issues too like there no water pressure & list goes on. If I could have cancelled without losing money I would’ve upon arrival I would have

5.0We had a wonderful trip exploring Sedona, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Zion & Bryce. Our family of 5 traveled comfortably in this RV. The owners were awesome to work with and very responsive to our questions as this was our first RV experience. It was a great trip!
