Responsive, Instructional, Mixed Reliability
DeAngelo is consistently praised for responsiveness, helpfulness, and thorough instruction at pickup. However, he has cancelled two bookings close to departure and delivered an RV without propane, causing inconvenience to a guest.
Easy to Drive, Varied Condition
Guests praise its easy driving and maneuverability with a backup camera. It's often clean, modern, and comes with amenities like an outdoor rug, tent, linens, and satellite TV. However, one review noted significant wear, cleanliness issues (pots, fridge), and a non-functional engine AC.

1.0One of the reasons I picked this RV was because of the good reviews I had read about the host and it offered amenities such as delivery (for a charge) and dumping tanks (for a charge). We were on a tight schedule on this trip.The RV was delivered a little late no big deal but was delivered without propane because he wasn’t able to find place to fill it. I found that odd because DiAngelo offered to deliver a day early at no extra cost. We didn’t do that because we had not yet arrived at our location for pickup. I found it odd that it was available for rental an entire day ahead of schedule meaning the host had more than enough time to ensure it was delivered with propane. No propane no refrigeration. So we were unable to load our food and had to buy styrofoam coolers to keep our food cold until we had to stop in route to fill the tanks. As any experience RV person knows it takes a good 24 hours for your fridge to reach a safe temperature to store food. DiAngelo offered a $50 discount for this inconvenience which really wasn’t a $50 discount because we had to incur the cost of the propane so it was more like a $20 discount for having to locate and go out of our way to a dealer to get the necessary propane, buy coolers, back the coolers to then back the fridge when it was safe to do so. The RV was not in good condition. The pots and pans were not even usable, felt greasy and the teflon ones scratch so badly that we didn’t feel they were even safe to use. We had to bring our own. The RV showed a lot of wear an tear, seat covers stained, paneling cracked, fridge not clean, was behind stove top greasy. The host was a nice enough but In the future when renting form this site I would be more cautions and would check out the age and milage of a vehicle before renting. We left it cleaner than we found it. Sorry but I feel that a $20.00 discount for having to find our own propane, fill it, buy coolers to keep food cold, back them and then pack the fridge.
