2023 Winnebago Revel "Revie the Revel"

This is the perfect vehicle for a couple, and possibly a child to go on a road trip or camping adventure. The engine, transmission and suspension by Mercedes-Benz is unparalleled. The vehicle is easy to drive, has more than enough acceleration and climbing power, and has many driver assistance features, such as a huge windshield, large rearview mirrors, additional parabolic, mirrors, blind side, warning lights and beeps, lane departure warning beeps, and rear and overhead back-up cameras/views and sensors. This was my first time driving the vehicle and I quickly became very comfortable on the freeways and in tight parking lots. One does have to take extra care with this precision Mercedes-Benz engine. According to Mercedes-Benz, bio-diesel should not be used. I had no idea what DEF was, but one needs to keep this reservoir full. And the motor oil should only be changed by a trained Mercedes-Benz technician. Winnebago is unmatched in its RV designs. The bathroom, bed, and cooktop are small, but very functional for a couple preparing easy meals. The solar panels are efficient. The heating and air conditioning are more than adequate. We didn’t even use the back hitch for bikes or the battery operated awning for picnics. The toilet water capacity is small; 5 gallons, but there is a helpful gauge to indicate when it is getting full. It is very easy to extract, empty and replace.. The gray water drain is also easy to position and empty. We had a wonderful, week-long trip from Seattle to San Luis Obispo and back.

Van was amazing, we used it on a 10 day trip around Washington state’s National parks! It was practly brand new. Everything with worked perfectly and Phill was very friendly and helpful!

Phillip was great to work with on a last minute reservation due to a cancellation from a different owner 1 day before our trip. All the essentials were included. Towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, pots and pans black out window covers. All systems worked great and had plenty of capacity for a 4 day trip around Olympic and Mt Rainier National Parks. Very clean and reliable camper! Easy to drive around and park. Thanks Phillip for assisting with a memorable father daughter trip.

This was my first time renting an RV - great experience! Phillip and his rig are perfect for folks new to van life and the ins and outs of running the equipment and systems. We took the van out on a 4 day trip down to Crater Lake and it provided a nice level of creature comfort.
