Don't pull on the doors! Let them do their thing.
Is the vehicle in park? Are the doors unlocked? Is there a loose item obstructing the door jamb? Don't pull! If it doesn't go something else is wrong. Check the drivers dash left the wheel control area.
No smoking does anyone smoke anymore? Please smoke pot outside. Don't get it stinky with hippie essential oils or incense.
Be careful loading and tying down roof loads. I'm not going to panic if you scratch it. Lucky for you it's scratched already you'll fit in where you're going. Don't add any stickers we are not trying to draw attention. Manually turn off the interior lights when you go to sleep. Beach sand can be deceiving when camping. Stuck in sand common. Start digging call me when you're done.Water is clean and potable everywhere this is great! Lots of showers and restrooms at beach.
Drink and fill from tap. Bottles are reusable.
Please be careful. Once you get started, I'm sure you will be. The roads.... I personally own all of the vehicles and provide full coverage with roadside assistance to protect us both. If you get into a scrape don't hesitate to call me anytime. If I'm not there, our local friends will be. This is your adventure. Liability prevents me from telling you where to camp where to go where to hike, swim. Just give me a text now and then. Lost in Hana for days, or surfing overhead and where is an acceptable text.

Of course!! Camping is ready available. I stay away from answering this question directly. There are many nuances. Simple Google searches will give you better answers.

The state of Hawaii and Maui county have installed a network of public showers and bathrooms found at most shoreline access. Make sure to do your business between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. many of the parks close with Gates. 24-hour public plastic outhouses are sporadic.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

You could Uber to my house and then back to the airport. Everyone seems to like the $50 pickup and drop off.

If you scratch it with a kayak or surfboard or a bush don't worry. You'll fit in where you're going. Liability prevents me from telling you where to camp, swim or hike. There is an abundance of all. Their countless outdoor bathrooms and showers all have clean drinkable water your bottle is reusable the water is terrific here. Suit your fancy do what you enjoy. I like to hear from you climbing waterfalls surfing, diving that cove.
