Comfortable, Island-Ready Driving
The Toyota RAV4 is reliable, comfortable, and handles Kauai roads well. It features an easy-to-setup rooftop tent (and ground tent option) that performs well in all weather, along with extensive, quality camping and beach gear. Some guests noted issues with the front seat adjustment.

4.0Robin was a great help during our stay on the island! She was a great communicator (even down to warning us about routine tsunami alarms so we didn't freak out). Gear was pretty good and did the job. We didn't really cook much as there are so many good spots to try. Robin was super caring by giving us a few extra things to make sure we had a good stay. Gracias!

5.0Our experience renting Robin's vehicle on Kauai was brilliant. She gave us plenty of tips, picked us up from our accommodation in Kapa'a and provided us with lots of equipment necessary for a good camping trip. We stayed a few nights at Salt Pond, a few at Anini and one up in the Koke'e park. The car is in really good shape and has a roof tent attached if you chose to camp at one of the private campsites such as Kuma, or the YMCA on the North shore. All in all, a great trip. Thanks Robin

5.0We really enjoyed our experience with this rental. Everything was as described so there were no surprises. Camping in Kauai is a little tricky, but no need to worry because Robin will help you through it all. She is an excellent tour guide. I loved that she included a list of all her recommendations of tours and places to eat. This came in really handy. The car was clean, the bedding and towels were freshly washed and the equipment was in good repair. There was enough equipment to make camping comfortable but we did end up needing more tent pegs and found ourselves wanting a broom and dust pan and a clothesline, but managed without.

Do you do airport pick up & drop off?

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up is 3:00pm, Drop off 11:00 am but I am flexible and work with the guests flight itinerary. However, on occasion I have guests dropping off and new guests picking up on the same day. I need time to clean the car & gear so in that case I have to stick with my pick up & drop off times.

Yes. It is illegal to camp on Kaua'i without a camping permit. I offer concierge service included in the rental. I can help you plan your trip and give you advise of where to camp.

How many people can comfortably camp with your vehicle?
A.
Ideally 2 adults. The rooftop tent has a very comfortable queen size memory foam mattress. I also offer a ground tent with queen size blow up mattress for campsites that do not allow camping in the roof top tent. There is room for 3 adults with the camping gear & luggage in the car.
