We recommend reserving Kumu Campground prior to your arrival. Open, beachfront, bathrooms, hot shower, kitchen area with BBQ and only $15 per person per night.Recommendations:Make sure you have a plan!! Have spots reserved. Do research ahead of time. This is a very special camper in very good condition. We are happy to rent to those who will respect and take care of the camper. Pavement only. No off roading. No going to Polihale. Camper is located in Kapaa 8 miles north of airport (easy Uber/taxi). 3 night minimum.To rent our Camper vans you must be 25 yrs.old or older and you must have purchased Wheelbase insurance package the price is $28.95 with a roadside assistant. Please send us your email after you book."None of our vans are allowed off-road and even rough roads can cause damage to our vintage Camper Vans. Don't get into situations that require fast acceleration. Visibility backing up is limited, use a spotter to guide you. Heavy vans can struggle to start on a steep uphill grade. "G. Polihale State Park is not allowed. Unimproved or dirt roads including Maha'ulepu beach are not allowed. GPS tracking will verify compliance. Van shall not be operated by anyone other than designated in the rental agreement. Nothing is allowed on top of or connected to the van. Please sleep in Camp Grounds, camping permits are easy to obtain on short notice.
If we pick up or drop off a van there will be a $50 fee. (No services on Airport property). Picking up your Camper before 3 pm is possible with a $50 charge. Returning your van later than, 11 AM incurs a $50/hour fee. Because we will struggle to prepare it for the next renter.
There Is no smoking allowed. The van's interior and exterior need to be returned clean and full of Premium gas.
